RAN Fire Protection Engineering completed a project for Hobby Lobby, a prominent retail chain, involving a 56,900 sq. ft. retail building. RAN’s work encompassed developing the initial design criteria, creating precise working drawings, and performing detailed hydraulic calculations to ensure the fire suppression system met the project’s specific design intent. Additionally, RAN reviewed all other project submittals for compliance. RAN also actively engaged with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction to address any concerns and confirm that all proposed fire protection measures fully met their requirements. This ensured the project’s fire safety systems were compliant and tailored to the unique needs of a large retail environment, ultimately enhancing safety and mitigating risk for the client.
