Happy New Year! Here is a recap of 2024, which was a busy year for RAN Fire Protection Engineering. Across our offices we worked on well over 100 projects.
We would like to express gratitude to our clients for their unwavering loyalty and trusting us to provide expert fire protection engineering. We take a lot of pride in knowing that our clients are highly satisfied with the services we provide.
Our fire protection engineering expertise means we are qualified to work on all types of buildings. 2024 saw us working in all types of markets, some examples include high rise, historical, correctional, Industrial, healthcare and libraries. No project has been too challenging or complex for RAN engineers!
2024 saw us expand and open a new office in Fort Worth Texas. The Texas office is led by Mike Klemenz who had significant fire protection engineering experience prior to joining us. His wealth of knowledge and expertise have made him a great addition to the RAN team.
Christopher Crivello and Gillian Nadeau were inducted into Worcester Polytechnic Institute’s Salamander Fire Protection Engineering Honor Society! This honor was granted to them because they have distinguished themselves in the discipline of fire protection and they have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills.
Our Rochester Office had two fire protection design interns in 2024, Gunnar and Ben. Gunnar is a student at Worcester Polytechnic Institute majoring in mechanical engineering, and Ben is a student at Rochester Institute of Technology also majoring in mechanical engineering. Neither were very familiar with the fire protection engineering industry prior to the internship, but the hands-on approach offered by RAN ensured that they learned lots of new skills. Their eagerness to learn, work ethic, and engineering talent made them great assets for RAN.
Our Albany office was joined by Brianna, who is majoring in marketing at Siena College. Briana had no prior knowledge about the fire protection industry, but she has developed her knowledge through lots of research for blog posts and social media. She has been a huge help with our digital marketing efforts, as well as creating our project sheets, which are hugely important because they demonstrate the expertise and skills involved in our projects
