That’s a wrap 2022! RAN finished out 2022 strong by accomplishing desired goals with an ambitious team. As a result of this, we expanded in many aspects this year and built indestructible connections with clients. This could not have been achieved if it was not for our loyal clients and continuous growth within the company. As we begin to wrap up the year, we’d like to reflect on what made this year so memorable.
We are excited to announce that RAN has officially been awarded the OGS 2022 Fire Protection Term Contract! This is our second win as prime from 2019, along with our terms as sub for DASNY, GSA, SUCF and VA, and this is a huge accomplishment for our team!
At the beginning of 2022, our Rochester office, run by Tim DeRuyscher and Tyler Tamblin, was merely an empty office space. We quickly took action to make this office our own to have a greater physical presence in the area. To see renovation/transformation pictures, click here. Once complete, we were able to move in and hit the ground running in expanding our services to Western New York and beyond. With additional office space than just our Albany office, we also opened up the opportunity for more interns. We had four interns this summer, with two of these interns having extensive time in the Rochester office shadowing Tim and Tyler, allowing them to gain valuable information and experience in fire protection engineering. The opening of our Rochester office is just the beginning of RAN’s expansion, and we cannot wait to watch the office flourish in 2023.
In June, the RAN team attended the NFPA Conference & Expo in Boston, MA. The conference brought together a huge variety of professionals within the fire protection and fire safety industry. While spending our time in Boston, we had the pleasure of connecting with friends, clients, and fellow alumni, attend top-notch presentations, check out interesting booths, and network with fellow professionals within the industry.
Finally, RAN is continuously growing our team and company. Within 2022, we have added two new full-time employees. The first being Abbie Rose, she joined RAN early in the year as our new Marketing Coordinator. She has proven to be a valuable asset to the Marketing Department and has helped accomplish many of our yearly goals. Patrick Ethier was hired as a full-time Fire Protection Designer. Patrick has previously interned at RAN for a few years and has decided to jump on board full-time. He continues to impress us with his drive and knowledge. Our summer intern, Anthony Cavallo, is currently with RAN doing a co-op for his program at RIT. He works closely with our team in Rochester and is a valuable asset for our expansion west. Our team is continuously growing, and we are excited to see all they accomplish individually and as a team.
2022 was a great year for RAN and we are excited to see what we can achieve in 2023!
